09:49 pm - Baby Kyle in NICU
Today I went to visit my friend Angie and her son Kyle who was born on Sunday, at 23 weeks, 2 months early. This was my first experience in the NICU and it was shocking. After getting over the shock, and stopping crying I hung out with Angie for 40 minutes. I looked at Kyle constantly as he lay in his tiny bed, at barely 5lbs. He has monitors and tubes everywhere. The tab on his oxygen tube lays on his face and looks uncomfortable. Angie and Joe are waiting to hear news back from a MRI scan and a chromosome test. Kyle is breathing good and eating breast milk out of a tube, but could stay in NICU from 2 weeks-2 months. Angie spends all day (8-6:45) at the NICU while Joe comes in a out while taking care of the house/shopping/errands. The hospital is 45 minutes away from their house, so they spend lots of time driving to be by Kyle's side.
In order for me to make the visit, my NICU night nurse friend Connie watched Caleb for me. I was able to ask Connie lots of questions since she works with preemies on a regular basis. She gave me hope in telling me that they sometimes send home 5lb babies who are stable. Right now, Kyle is in the "non-stable" room of the NICU. I am sending them all the good thoughts I have.
Never thought Angie would be on bed rest, or have a preemie. We really don't know anything. Just reminds me of all the risks one takes when getting/deciding to get pregnant and have a child. I cannot stop thinking about Kyle, especially after seeing him so tiny and fragile in a diaper and wrapped in blankets under the warmer.

A few days I was thinking about what a lousy updater I am. I miss you all and often wonder how you are doing.
Cousin Dan- I wish we were too busy to spend time like the old days.
Elizabeth- I wonder how you're doing with school and work. I can never keep up with where you are living either.
Dazel- I wonder where your great talents have taken you in life. Still into photography?
Megan- I wish we had more time to hang out. I hope you got our Christmas card.
Sherry- How is/was your pregnancy? I'm guessing you've had your baby. I checked your journal, but there's no update.

09:01 pm - What am I sopposed to do?!
Right now at this moment I don't like my life-besides my Son, Caleb. His smile will melt all my frustrations away. Marriage is crap when you're the only one working to make it good/right. Does he care how I feel? Why does he ignore me? He goes into his own little xbox live world and doesn't come out for hours. I'm tired of this. How is this okay? It just doesn't make sense to me. How can we fight fair? Everything conversation over something controversial is and "arguement". Can we just talk? marriage is hard work. How about I put in 50% and you put in 50%. :)

12:04 pm - Surprising and Exciting news: read on...
So, I can finally inform all you LJ friends about what's been happening in my life. This will explain the countdowns as well.
Brian and I will be getting married this Saturday, September 30th. Yup. We're having a court wedding with 12 10 people in attendance. I'm so glad to know that we won't have any distraction of music or flowers. The focus will be on the vows and the love we have for each other. ( Why so soon? )

All posters have been well kept, never been folded and are ready for a new home. I doubt these are being sold any longer(Maybe at concerts?) I'll give em up for $2 a piece + delivery/mailing charges. :) Talk to me, make a deal.

12:55 pm - Friends, I need your help.
This Friday my MWF morning class will be over.(Yay!) Since I won't have to be to work until 9:30am I want to workout Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. (Minimum of 3 days/week.) Starting up again, I need to build muscle and endurance. My goal is to exercise/workout (via video, treadmill, etc)at least 20 minutes, if not longer. I'm serious about getting back in shape this time.
Your help=keeping me accountable to my goal.
Thanks in advance.
Ps. Does anyone want to do this with me?

04:10 am - Rain, rain, go away...
Raining so hard outside I can hear it. Brian's poor bike, it doesn't have a cover. I hope this won't cancel out any chances of riding. We don't have anything planned, but I hope we'll go out, since we didn't today. I have a whole weekend without school and pebbles, hope it doesn't slip away.

I've finally got a Valentine's Day gift in the works. Mini scrapbook. :) and I hope to make him something for the motorcycle as well.
Well, off for a walk with Tyler. I want to be back by 4:30 to watch the news. While we were at Mission Bay Park today KSND(7) was interviewing parents about the "Britney Spears driving with son" incident. Laura(T's mom) was interviewed. Ttyl.

02:34 am - Are we crazy?
So, Brian went for a late night ride tonight, and not because he really wanted to. Right when my alarm went off for me to leave Christian(his roommate) comes home from a club bringing at least 2 LOUD girls. First Brian says, "Christian, can you tell them to keep it down?!" Then, the girls are in a out of his bathroom, when I feel they should be using Christian's bathroom in the first place. Then, some girl talking on the cell phone opens Brian's door. What?! HELLO! She then finds and goes to the bathroom. (The walls are so thin you can hear everything!) And then stands outside his door on the phone giving directions very loudly to someone else so they can come over. Brian is clearly angry now. This is ridiculous, especially during the work week. Ay! So, Brian tells me he'll follow me home. He was riding while angry late at night, so I hope he stays safe and eventually gets good sleep.
Gonna work on HW now since I can't go to sleep. I probably could, but this assignent is due in la manana.

I love when he holds me tighter when have to leave.
I love when he calls me several times a day.
I love when I can help him out with anything he needs.
I love the ways he shows me he loves me.
I love when he says, "You're always right." because I can admit when I'm wrong.
I'm happy and want nothing more than to have him by my side every day.
**After 9 months this list should be longer, and in my mind, it is. I plan to add to this list as necessary.
